Autumn changes at the Trust After five years with the Trust, Deputy Chief Executive, Paulette Cohen, will be moving on to a new role in September. She has been appointed as Associate Director, Global Community Investment, with Barclays Bank, enabling her to combine her experience with both the Trust and Save the Children as she leads the bank’s Banking on Brighter Futures projects, which commits resources to international community initiatives.
Paulette said: “I am very excited by this challenging new opportunity. However I will be extremely sad to leave the Trust and all the remarkable people I have had the privilege to work with and learn from. It has been a great honour to be part of the Trust, and to contribute to its growth over the past five years. I hope to stay in touch with many of the friends I have made through our programmes, and will look forward to seeing them at this year’s Annual Lecture and future Trust events.”
Jim McCalman, Chief Executive said: “I will personally be very sad to see Paulette leaving the Trust as she has for the last five years represented all that is at the heart of Leadership. Her professionalism, skills and zest will be sadly missed. Nevertheless, we at the Trust will take this as an opportunity for change.”
In the Autumn, the Trust will begin the search for a Head of Operations, following a review of the resources within the Trust team. As the number of programmes has grown by over 30% in the past few years, this role will provide additional support to the Programme Managers and to developing relationships with our many committed clients. A recruitment consultant has been appointed and the search will begin in September when more information will be posted on this website.
